Extra info

We've talked about World War 1 and how it symbolizes a loss of innocence.  That, in turn, helps to create the theme in "The Man in the Black Suit."  Here are some videos with more info on World War 1- The Great War- for the history fans.

1st full week down

So we made it through our 1st five day week ( with a half day in there).  We read one of the best stories: "The Man in the Black Suit."   We will do some work with it next week as well.  Last night's open house was fun- always good to meet some parents who raised some great young people.  I spoke about the DC trip- must have been good, as about  7 or 8 people signed up right after it...

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

New year, new Site...

I am fed up with Wordpress.  They change things, and never for the better.  I'll try this google site.  Google already owns everything, so I don't think they'll change stuff to extract a few more dollars.  Here's to a great school year in 2018-2019.  😁
